Medical dentist for more than 20 years in is hometown Porto, Portugal. Is both president of the Portuguese Dental Association and FDI World Dental Federation
Ajuda-me imenso no cargo que exerço cá”, assegura o bastonário.
Last December I met with the president of the Assembly of the Republic, Assunção Esteves, which is the assembly that represents all Portuguese citizens.
The main issue of our conversation was the importance of the qualified professions in Portugal, once that I was there as president of the National Council of the Professional Orders (CNOP).

There was time to promote a meeting between IADS and Portuguese Dental Students Associations. My eyes are always looking to students and young dentists from long time ago, it’s an old concern. Portugal hasn’t delegates at IADS and the aim of that meeting was to promote further developments between all of them.

It was a great game last night with a 6-2 victory over Bosnia-Hercegovina. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the opening goal after just eight minutes. After a 0-0 draw in Zenica last week, Portugal made it yesterday and here we are ready for Euro 2012.
We are in countdown for the XX Portuguese Dental Association Annual Dental Meeting (website: english or portuguese), that will take place on the 10th, 11th and 12th of November 2011, in Lisbon. More than 6500 participants are expected.

The Portuguese Dental Association Annual Meeting alternates between Porto and Lisbon. See here Photos from 2010 Congress, held in Porto:
The Portuguese Dental Association received last Monday (24 October 2011) a meeting of the National Council of the Professional Orders (CNOP) in our Lisbon delegation. CNOP is the association representative of the 14 Portuguese regulated professions, of which I’m president since March 2011.
