My name is Orlando Monteiro da Silva and this is my personal site.
I am a medical dentist for more than 20 years, Portuguese, 49 years old. Over the years, also devoted my time to participate actively in national and international institutions to promote dental and oral health.
Currently, I am both president of the Portuguese Dental Association and FDI World Dental Federation. In the past, I have been president of the Council of European Dentists.
With this blog I want to introduce myself and invite all those who want to share experiences, discuss scientific and clinical developments on prevention programs, about best practices, discuss … and, frankly, all the themes of the universe of Oral Health.
